Meadowcraft's Sustainability or Green Programs have reduced our impact on natural resources. This was accomplished through our internal initiatives and supplier relationships.

As a result this past year:

Over... 70% ... of our material purchases were from recycled material

Over... 90% ... of the steel comes from post consumer use goods

Over... 80% ... of the corrugated paper comes from post consumer use goods

 

In the past year, our supplier relationships combined with our own recycling programs saved:

Over... 60,000 ... trees were saved

Over... 14,000,000 ... gallons of water was saved

Over... 20,000,000 ... kilowatt hours of energy was saved

 

We're not finished yet, a current initiative is:

Saving an additional... 46,000,000 ... cubic feet of Natural Gas consumption

Saving an additional... 3,000 ... kilowatt hours of energy
